B Deshey is an American R&B singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Mississippi, she wrote her first song at age 9. Currently an independent artist, B Deshey is notable for her clever play on words in her songwriting.

Deshey was born Brittany Desha Mays. As a child she took piano lessons and began her singing where most artists do: church. She has always been a profound writer as this showed in her grades throughout high school and college. She graduated from Harrison Central High School and later Cum Laude at Tougaloo College with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Deshey is 23 years old.

Deshey wrote her first song at age 9 titled "Puppy Love."In 2012 she co wrote her song "Love You Forever" with platinum recording producer Travis Sayles. In 2015 she dropped her single "Tempted."
